Danny reminds me of an experience I had way back in 1985. Bought a new Mercury Marquis and the steering wheel was crooked and it pulled to one side. Drove it around the block before purchase and told them to alighn it before I'd accept it. Next day they said fixed and we repeared the same process.
After the second "arrempt" I said the hell with it and took the car (the deal was just too good to walk away over the alighnment).
I got in, drove it about 20 miles to a frame shop in Baltimore. They alighned the front end and said it had never had a wrench on it. I had the car undercoated prior to purchase so it was evident. I had them make a notation to that effect on the receipt.
Went straight back to the dealer and had a little "discussion" with the owner of the dealership. So a full refund for the alighnment bill and free oil/filter changes for 3 years I felt better.
