Cougar nose cone and WDH

I've been looking at the new Couger's with that V nose shape. My current WD hitch is the type with snap up brackets and chains. From looking at the nose of those trailers, it appears there is no room for the brackets.

Yesterday, I visited two dealers. I asked the same questions at both dealers, and heard two different answers.

First dealer said "You need to change your hitch to an equalizer".

Second dealer said "No problem, we put those brackets on all the time".

I know (as well as you all know) that you can tell a salesman is lying when his lips start moving. So, which of these salesmen was lying the most?

Anybody using the snap up type hitch on a new Cougar?

With the Laredo 303TG the propane tanks are recessed into the front cap. The only thing the dealer did was reposition the battery and bracket and was able to use the Reese Dual Cam's. However with the Outback's tanks being pushed so far up on the hitch it may make it difficult. Worst case is you ask the dealer that says they can install the brackets and find out how (in detail). Good luck with everything.
