Happy Holiday RV Campground

This is my report on "Happy Holiday RV Park and Campground" in Cherokee, NC, I wish I could give a positive report but here's how last summers trip went: We looked in the Woodall’s for a campground in Cherokee, NC and being a Good Sams member we looked at the star ratings, this one had either a 4 star or 5 star rating by Good Sams Club. We called ahead and reserved 4 nights, when we arrived we were assigned a site and we promptly set up our camper. The first thing that I noticed was that the sites weren't very well kept, still we went ahead and setup anyway (you should always follow your first impressions), when using the water I noticed that my regulator kept unloading as water was drawn in the trailer, this meant to me that the water pressure was high and not within the normal PSI, still we were protected by our regulator. Late that night I received a call from home that there was a medical emergency so the next morning we went to get a refund for the three days remaining, I was told "no Refunds" only a rain check that could not be used on Holidays. So we broke camp and packed up to go home, it was then as I unplugged the 30 amp plug that I noticed that one side of the plug was burned, probably from a faulty 30 amp receptacle. This was the worst and most unfriendly campground that I have ever been to, when we arrived home, there was a renewal notice from "Good Sams Club" which I tossed in the trash can, after all, I can find lousy campgrounds on my own without the help of mister Sam, so I'm sorry to say that that campground gets an "F" from me and that's only because there isn't a "G".
