Keystone dealer in Hewitt, Tx

We drove from Houston to Hewitt,Tx to purchase a Keystone Hideout from Great Adventures RV. The internet price was $19,995 and the salesperson told us the same. We looked at the unit and told the salesperson we would buy it. When we went into the office to complete papers, the owner said that price was not right but should be $20,995. We argued with him but because that was the only unit we could locate in Texas, we purchased it.

This was an outright bait and switch. We caution anyone going there to buy, be extra, extra careful because the published price will most likely not be what the owner tells you the price is.

When I bought my Keystone Bullet back in February, the salesman quoted me incorrectly on my voicemail. After I drove the 2 hours to the dealers lot, we sat down and pricing was different than what he mentioned on my VM. I let him listen to his message and he ended up honoring the lower price. Integrity is everything especially in business transactions.

That sucks!
Some owners are notorious for switching prices around! (I know, I've worked for a couple of them in the auto industry.)
Don't let that stop you from enjoying it. Karma is a B tch.
Go camping. Start a camp fire. Have a drink. Look forward to all the adventures.

Happy Camping!

Well despite what they did, try to cultivate a "relationship" with them the best you can. That is where you will likely have to take it for any warranty work.
Other dealers first question will be: "Did you buy it here?"
