Re-entering name & pass?

Just curious, why do I sometimes have to sign on again when posting or answering post? No big problem, again, just curious.

My understanding is there is a time out on the site for inactivity. It doesn't recognize typing, just when you click on a button to submit a response or open a post. If you click on the little box to "remember me" when you log in, you shouldn't have that problem. At least that's how I got passed it.

Have you checked the "Remember Me" box beside the log in? Try that and see if it makes a difference. The way you have set up your "cookies" in your browser will also make a difference.

There has been a few threads in the last month or so about being logged out by the forum. I haven't experienced it....yet. I don't recall what the answer was, but if it keeps happening feel free to PM one of us moderators and we can push your issue to an administrator. Us mods don't have access to that.

I see you've gotten a couple of possibilities as I was typing.
