Argghh! I know I saw it somewhere

a photo, of a LED light string install.

The clever, clever owner had installed the remote detector and the power box inside the porch light under the amber lens.

How can I find this photo again?

New Bullet 230BHS, I'm going to install the LED light strip up on the camper itself rather than the awning tube this time.

The owner had drilled an access in the black base for the outside porch light and had fit the remote detector through that hole to control the LEDs. The power was taken off the porch light. The wiring for the lights themselves had been shortened, spliced and everything (power supply box included) was coiled up and put back under the amber lens.

The power cord for the lights exited the top of the porch light (another drilled hole) and met the LED light strip, traveled parallel to the strip to the end and plugged in.

Is there a way to view all photos that have been posted in the past month?

One more pic

Also a little white shrink tubing to help conceal the connector end.

Alas, tan, not white

I really like the shrink wrap/ channel cover idea, but I have the new tan color. Wanted white, never could get it.

I'm going to wipe down the wiring that exits the top of the porch light with a light coat of wood stain or hair coloring and see if I can get a close match.

I should have plenty of waste wiring to try it on

How much do those led strips cost? I think I have seen them labeled for "RV's" but they also looked the same as the ones you can get at walmart that I saw around christmas time.

Look on ebay

Under 20 bucks with remote control look for water proof. I removed original cheap 3m tape from back and used what's call glazing tape. Double sided foam tape used for installing windows(very strong has to be holds window in place), go to local glass shop the stuff is very inexpensive they will probably give you 20ft for free.
