Another New Guy

We recently sold our 2005 Keystone Outback 21rs and just purchased a 2011 Keystone Laredo 265RL. Only have it for one day, so I'm trying to educate myself about this new trailer.
What really sold us about this trailer was the living area. I was trying to stay under 28 ft but gave in to the extra length. We found some trailers with more interior storage but at the cost of a less ideal living area. So it's all a compromise.
We are pulling it with a 2008 Ram 2500 crew cab diesel with the 6.5 ft bed.
Anyone that has this trailer and can recommend upgrades and mods I'd appreciate the info.

Thanks,
John

Welcome! We have a similar set up and feel that things have worked out well. At 30' total you're about 27' behind the truck bumper so not a lot longer than your previous TT.
Your 5er is a bit taller than your previous unit so watch for overhanging tree branches.
Your Cummins has all the power you need to tow comfortably. Watch your payload weight though as we are really close to the 2k lbs. specd by Dodge.
I'm sure others will chime in with more suggestions. Lots of experienced folks willing to share here.
