Nice Forum for Keystone owners

Fiancee and I recently bought a 2018 22RBPR to replace her 2011 20 foot camper, which was too small for the both of us.
I also recently bought a 2013 Ford F150 Super Crew 4X4 with the 5.0L engine and towing package.
Bought the Equalizer hitch #90-00-1000, and the RV dealer is going to set it up and install it tomorrow. We plan on going camping from Oct. 13 to Oct 16 as a shakedown camping trip. We hope to get a lot of use out of the camper over the upcoming years.

Welcome and congrats on the purchase of your new coach.

Keep in mind that RV dealers are in business to sell trailers and not particularly skilled in proper installation and setup of WDHs. After getting your new trailer home, I'd suggest reviewing the manufacturer's installation and setup guide. Load the trailer as you would travel to your favorite campground and readjust the equipment as needed.

More often than not, the adjustments that you make will provide a better towing experience, since dynamics change when the trailer is in "ready to camp" mode.

Congrats again and welcome to the Keystone community.

Welcome to the forum!

We have an older version of the same trailer and love it... just perfect for the 2 of us.

I have posted pictures of some of my mods here.

We have put ~8,000 miles on it in the 3 seasons we have owned it.

Happy camping... ask questions and post pictures

-Brian
