3010RE Alpine

We are looking at a 3010RE Alpine. I have been reading all these forums looking for someones input about an Alpine. Does anyone own an Alpine. I feel we are getting a good deal but would like some comments good or bad from Alpine owners. We have never seen a 3010 so our dealer set up a factory tour for us at the next scheduled build. It is only a 4 hour drive. Is the Alpine a good rig? We plan to fulltime in about 1 to 2 years.

Thanks in advance for the input

I cannot comment specifically about Alpine.... As we have an Avalanche.

But the Avalanche/Alpine models share many feature and floor plans... With the nod to Alpine for a few nicer features availability...

You'll find the "RE" plans for the alpine/avalanche models are generally 4-slide models with "rear entertainment" systems. I.E. Rear wall mounted TV systems and opposing slide seating - providing lots of living area.

Ours is a 2012 model Avalanche and we really enjoy it. We love the layout. Took delivery in March 2012 and haven't required a trip back to the dealer for any reason at all.

I have a 3535 Alpine and love it. The whisper air and heat pump are a must have for us.

Alpine heat pump

We have a 2012 3495FL Alpine and are pleased with it. We had a water leak one yrar after purchase and the dealer fixed it under warranty. Just a loose fitting. Then, one month ago out pump was not pumping good, it sounded like it was sucking air. It's not real easy to get to, but after an hour I got to the pump and sure enough, the suction fitting was loose. I checked all the other fittings I could reach and tightened them. The pump works fine now.

My question is on the heat pump. I have tried it twice, but do not get much of anything out of it. Not much air and hardley any heat. Is that normal?

The heat pump works good to about 35 or 40 degrees outside temp. the heat pump and a.c use the same ducts so if you are not getting air flow when using heat pump and have air flow with a.c not sure what you have.
