Antenna Booster Button?

We just recently purchased a 2007 Sprinter 311BHS and the tv works when a dvd is playing but it wont pick up any regular tv channels. I have put up the antenna but I can not find the antenna boost button. Or Maybe I am having other issues, any help would be great. Thanks.

If you look at the wall behind your TV set, there is, what looks like a receptacle, for a 12V plug mounted on a wall plate. On the plate, there is a small, black, push-in button. Push it in to boost the antenna and for better reception. There is also a small, green light that will come on when you push in the button if the amplified wall plate is working properly.

My tv rotates from the living room to the bedroom, I did not see any outlets next to the tv there? I will take the tv off the wall and see if I am missing something. Even without the boost should I get some channels or not any without it?

Welcome to the forum IA Farmer,

Festus gave a good explanation... and, there's also a photo [courtesy of Steve] in this thread.

Enjoy your new-to-you Sprinter.

Most trailers have the booster switch somewhere in the master bedroom. There should be a spot there for a TV with above mentioned outlet with switch and an antenna connection. There will also be a 110vac outlet.

Even though you are using the TV in the entertainment center elsewhere in the trailer, the booster in the bedroom has to be turned on for signal to get to the other TV.

Don't forget to crank up the antenna and rotate it for best signal.

Then you will want to go into the menu for your TV or digital tuner and have it scan for new stations.

The antenna boost button should be right where the tv.plugs in it is a small push button and it should be black.

this weekend I finally got the bedroom tv to get channels and the livingroom, but then I plugged in a 12v tv in the storage area and it would only pickup the few like when the booster is off. Doesn't that connection run on the booster too?

My booster button is in the closet in the bedroom.
