Removing bedroom door?

My rig has the wood door on hanging rollers inside the bedroom.

On my old rig, I used to remove the door when it was only going to be me and DW traveling, to give us a little more room to move. Because the mechanism was "naked," it was a simple matter of flipping up the little plastic lever on each roller, lifting the door out, tying back the rollers so they wouldn't rattle, and storing the door in the garage.

On the Cougar, Keystone has enclosed the door rollers with a valance. I've tried several different strategies for reaching in there to pop the levers, and haven't yet succeeded. Plus I'm not even sure there's enough room to hop the door bolts off the rollers if I do succeed.

Is there a trick to doing this that someone can suggest to me?
