And I stand corrected, so does the spec sheet.

Each tank measures 6"*19"*60". Which gives 6840 cubic inches. So @231 cubic inches a gallon, that's just over 29 gallons. Close enough to say 30. The filler neck enters the top of the tank.

I must admit, I haven't filled an empty tank at the pumps, just here and there with Jerry cans. To the point of overflowing. I based my initial numbers on what I've pumped out, and that has been way less than 30 gallons before the pump ran dry.

So that's makes me question if the transfer pump pickup is reaching the bottom as it should.
EXCELLENT! So, you know the capacity is there! That's good news. Now, figuring out how to "get it out" is the issue. Good work, man!

I don't know where the pickup is - guessing on the road-side, nearest the pump. I'd wait until you don't have to lay in the snow, tip the tank (using the hydraulic leveling jacks) to be curb-side down, and fill the tank to the top. Then use your hydraulic leveling jacks to tip the trailer with the road-side down and pump the tank into 5 gallon cans. If you can get about 30 gallons in then out, you might also determine that it is really just a "level" issue.

Hope that helps! Cool that you just doubled your fuel capacity!

I'm normally set up level when I fill the Jerry cans for the boat. That's why I'm conserved whether or not the pickup is correct. And yes, it enters the top of the tank by the filler. But that's a project for warmer weather.

I'll update when I have further investigated the issue.

Cheers

According to the keynote spec sheet this unit has ONE 30 Gal fuel tank.
I have a Toyota Platinum Tundra with a listed 38 gallon fuel tank the most I have put in it was 30 gallons. It was showing fully empty. I called Toyota and they advised tank has an approximately 8 gallon reserve when showing empty. Just sayin.

Fuel Station Pump

My Raptor 352 also has two 30 gallon tanks, one for the generator and the other for my fuel station. Neither gauge is very accurate probably due to the flat nature of the tanks.

I have found I am lucky to pump 22 to 23 gallons out of my auxiliary/fuel station tank, guessing the internal pick up line is poorly positioned in the tank.

I have never run them dry to see what could be potentially added when filling all the way.

Rick, he measured both tanks and gave the math for them. He has two thirty gallon tanks but may have a pick-up tube problem. That's sort of where the thread is right now.

Guessing here----could you have been sitting on an incline toward the tank fill spout? I have encountered this.
