New member from central Illinois checking in.
Hello all,
New forum member and relatively new RV'r here.
One year ago today my wife and I purchased our gently used 2020 PR24RK.
So far, we've traveled a bit over 5000 miles with it through 5 states, spending around 45 nights in it.
We're both retired. We had big boats for a couple of decades and have seen everything the Illinois river has to offer, so we decided to take our show on the road, so to speak.
We love our little camper, it fits the 3 of us, (Lucy is our 3yo Yorkiepoo and is the boss), perfectly.
We hope to be able to take longer, further trips as we adjust to the RV lifestyle.
Although there are a lot of similarities between marine and RV systems, I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions and hopefully will be able to provide a few answers to others.
Cheers!
Terry

Welcome to the forums and glad you are enjoying your new camper. The nice thing about a trailer over a boat is, there are no rocks to be worried about hitting the propeller!. But, tires do get skidded on curbs all to easy! Happy Camping! Enjoy the travels!

Thanks for the welcome!
Dutchman, that's very true! Another advantage is that even at sub-10 mpg, the mileage is MUCH better than the boat!
Gegrad, thank you!
Skunked Again, thank you! We travel right past you several times a year on Rt 4.
Kentucky Lake is our go to vacation spot and we have a lot of family in Tennessee, just north of Nashville.
Looking forward to finding my way around the forum.
Terry
