Locating the valve is just a matter of following the pull-cable to its other end. Unless you don't know where the pull cable handle is? It should be within a foot of the dump port, which should be located (usually) on the driver side somewhere in proximity to the toilet inside.

Without a signature (User CP / Edit Signature) listing your actual trailer model, that's as detailed as the information can get right now.

How have you determined that replacement isnecessary? If it's leaking it may just need a new blade seal. If it isn't opening/closing you may only need to replace the cable or rod pull.

To answer your question, you need to drop the Coloplast and find the valve first. Then there are 4 bolts holding the 2 halfs of the valve together. The difficult part is getting the valve separated as it could be movement restricted with the pipes up against objects. It's a very dirty job. Get a tarp for the ground, eye protection, a disposable set of overalls, and lots of soap for the shower when you're finished.

It’s going to be 3” and as Marshall said if ithe valve cycles but leaks, you can try replacing just the seals. 7/16” bolt and nut. Valera BladeX will fit any brand.
