Curt Better Weigh Scale

Anyone ever seen, used or heard of this?

https://www.rvupgradestore.com/Curt-...-p/72-2631.htm

Just happened to have a little blurb in my emails this morning. It would be nice if it worked but I've got my doubts on how well it works and when the best accuracy is only +/- 5% it makes me wonder. I know computers are great but I'm thinking this application sure makes a lot of assumptions.??

Looks interesting but for $100.00 I can think of few other items like 10 rolls of TP.

Seriously, I’m sure 5% is within standards if there is any, but I’m not sure you need “real time” information. What are you going to do? Pull over and move stuff around? Anyway my truck is a ‘94 so no stinking OBD port anyway.

Danny

I noticed that a while back. Here's a post on it.

Notice the comment in post 3.

it has pretty good reviews on Amazon (and it's cheaper there). No it's not as accurate as a CAT scale but gives good ballpark numbers. Curt bought the product from Haul Gauge and it seems has made improvements to it. The brake set up feature and the fairly good reviews sold me on it.

I have seen one of those and was thinking about getting one but it's not first on my list to get.
