Thanksgiving

Sorry to hear about all you guys winterizing your RV. I have been in RV today dusting and vacuuming getting ready to go out next week to start our annual Thanksgiving jaunt. We and others having doing this now for almost 25 years. Usually weather is OK. Normally have between 30 and 40 family members and friends join in on the festivities. Turkey and all the fixings and of course Pumpkin pie all you can eat. Wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving Dinner. Remember while giving thanks remember all those who are serving this country and our away from the loved ones as well as those who have served and paid the ultimate sacrifice.

U.S. Navy Vietnam Era Vet. Hoo Rah to all...

Thank you. Have a great trip and Thanksgiving. All sounds good although not a fan of pumpkin pie, like squash and apple... Anyway enjoy and don't overheat lol.

Ah yes, can't wait to get up to the lake with you guys! Week off of work with the boys and Kris' really scary campfire stories! Ha! Make sure you bring the marshmallows!

Probably won't reserve Sunday night though. Just getting back from business trip the Friday before we leave so need time to get trailer ready and am going to change the thermostat in the trailer that weekend.

I will help you with the wood on Monday.

Been eating squash pie all my life, my dad use to make and now my wife makes it using her moms recipe. I guess it is like pumpkin but it is lighter in color and not as strong tasting. Recipe is on the can of squash in the baking section of the store.

Thought about a Thanksgiving trip...camper froze to the ground, -14 the other night...might wait a few weeks. We should be so thankful as a people...we have so much...we take many things for granted - living in the greatest nation on earth. God has truly blessed us...and I agree lets remember those serving far from home.

We are planning a Thanksgiving trip to Myrtle Beach, not sure if we leave Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. But regardless it will be fun.

My camper, Coleman CM16FBS is not a 4 season camper, but with a few mods it will become a good 3.5 season one.

We have already been having unseasonable cold weather, hard freezes, with temps running 20 degrees below normal. Supposed to moderate Thanksgiving week.

Have a great trip and a good time! And yes, we all need to give thanks for being blessed to live in this great nation and for those that have sacrificed for us. We'll be at home for Thanksgiving but plan on leaving about 10 days later for FL for a month or two.
