I replaced my Goodyear OEM tires on 2009 Silverado at just short of 50,000 miles. Some tread left, but had a long trip coming up and wanted the peace of mind. Read everything I could, seemed to be the LTX M/S2's kept coming to the top of the list. Price, other's experience, marketing as a 70,000 mile tire, etc. With the 20" wheels, I recall being somewhat limited on getting higher load rating tires. You can see from my signature, I'm not hauling the biggest of trailers though.
I have close to 10,000 miles on these, look to be holding up well. Haven't measured tread depth but nothing that makes me concerned enough to do that. If I get between 50 and 60,000 miles, I'll feel I have my money's worth. So far so good.
