My 2020 Passport was missing one of two screws... when the pedal was pushed down it leaked ever so slightly at the fitting.. can't remember who told me to check it and or replace the lever but sure enough it only had one screw and was shifting and allowing a small amount of water to drip on floor from the fitting...
Easy peasy fix... difficult area to get into... thank God years of turning wrenches (before LE) for a living I learned how to do things by feel....
