If he would have mounted the fifth wheel hitch right above the axle he could have unhooked the truck and just backed the trailer in by hand...

Damn...wish I would have seen this a few months ago. I traded in the 1/2 ton for an F350....if I would have known this was an option, I could have saved a bundle!
