Wow... your camper is about 7K lbs and you have a Harley in the bed plus passengers and "stuff" plus the hitch. Sounds like you should have kept the F350. What is the payload capacity of your F150?

28 1/2' camper with a gvw of 7,500 + lbs. That's a tongue and hitch weight of about 1,000 lbs. I don't know what your F 150 payload capacity is but I'm betting your over it.

You should've kept the 1 ton & bought a toyhauler rather than an overloaded 1/2 ton.

Payload on my F150 is 8200 lbs. I've weighed it all loaded up ready for bear (minus the Harley) but including a full water tank on my trailer and I still have about 500 lbs. to spare on my truck weight. That being said, adding my bike to the truck might put me over by a couple hundred pounds but no big deal. I could probably make a few adjustments to loose that weight.

Payload is the amount you can carry in your truck. It is stated on a placard in the driver's door frame. It ain't 8200 lbs. It may not be 1800 lbs. It looks like this:

I wouldn't refer to that as my payload but if that's the number you want to look at, mine says 2278 lbs.

The gross vehicle pay rating (payload) is 8200 lbs.

With your Harley in the bed you've used up 1/2 or more of that payload before you add any people or stuff into the truck + 1000lbs+ of tongue/WDH weight all of which equals a 1/2 ton extremely overloaded.
The 8200lb GVW is the weight of the truck with everyone/everything in it + the bike in the bed + the tongue/WDH weight & I'd bet a donut & cup of coffee you've exceeded that & if not the weight of that donut & cup of coffee will put you over for sure.

OP, If you want to be sure and not just guessing, load up your truck just like you would when towing and go to the scales and have it weighed. Then just subtract that from the gross vehicle weight and that's what you have left for payload. You'll just be adding hitch weight and pin weight.
I tow a 16K fiver with an F350 PSD 4X4 crew cab. The gasser has more payload than the diesel generally so you should have plenty of room.
I'm actually looking at duellies as I am a bit close to limits.
