Furrion Oven Won't Stay Lit

I'm sure there is a thread for this and I've researched this elsewhere but I'm going to ask the question again anyways...

My 2020 Outback has a Furrion oven - model FSRE21SABL (typical 3 burner range/oven). Been full timing for 11 months from new and it worked perfectly everytime until about 6 months ago. Won't stay lit for more than a few minutes and requires up to a dozen restarts to keep it going; seems opening the oven door and letting it heat up for 15 minutes or so is a requirement to keep it going. has a nice blue flame so not a propane supply prob and doubt its a regulator; the stovetop works perfect everytime and gets used often so not a purging problem so I'm thinking lack of oxygen or thermo coupler. any ideas? Thanks in advance for any input.

I would have to say it's the thermocouple if it works as described. Either the thermocouple is out of place, is covered in carbon (soot), or is beginning to fail.

My 2022 295rl is doing the same thing. It's brand new, never used.

so I found a simple solution...and it works. flip open the stop top glass and pop the oven door open 2-3" while you light the oven and let it warm up. this seems to let it breath and get the oxygen it needs to warm up. after 6+ minutes the oven door can be closed and it will heat up to the desired preheat temp. just my experience. these ovens aren't vented correctly but they do work

I figured out what was wrong with mine by reading other posts. My thermocoupler was not precisely over the hottest part of the pilot light. I had to use pliers to bend it about 1/8 of an inch into the flame. That solved the problem. Apparently, if the thermocoupler isn't absolutely convinced (LOL), that there is a flame burning propane, it cuts the supply off.

thanks to Mike&Sandy for that post. i removed my thermocoupler from the little bracket on the back wall of the oven and repositioned it directly over the holes in the (drip tray? - not sure what purpose this tray serves). anyways, now it stays lit first time every time even with the door closed. after 2.5 years full timing dealing with this I thank you - well done!

So glad mine and yours is working better. What a funny little fix.
