Recess cabinet in wall

Has anyone recessed a cabinet into the wall? I want to partially recess a cabinet like a medicine cabinet in the bathroom.

I have not but the walls, if I am remembering correctly are only 1-1.5 inches thick. Not going to get much recess out of it. Also not sure what the "stud" spacing is on a RV.

You don't say what type/size cabinet, a bathroom "medicine cabinet" or a "China cabinet". As was stated, receded cabinets are typically built to recess into the "dead space " of interior walls and fit in between studs and get secured to those studs. As every little space is utilized in a camper those conditions do not exist.

Not saying it can't be done, just be aware of the differences of the design/construction.

No, not enough depth to be worth the bother.

My Eagle HT interior walls are only 1 inch thick, so not worth it.
