Wireless Start on Geni

I want my Geni (Owan 5500) to start with a wireless remote. I am sure others have done this, can you give me some insight on how you did it.

I'm assuming you don't have the In-Command control system?

Google EC-30W, maybe this is what you're looking for.

Like Bluetooth or handheld remote?
Or like a wall interior switch?

How handy are you electrically? Amazon sells a remote control with four functions . This comprises of a small circuit board with 4 relays (drive by 12 vdc) . So you parallel wire your generator switch (down is prime ) so that is one circuit , up is run so that is second circuit. Then I would add a master kill between so that you aren't working on generator and someone hits start button. Hope that helps. By the way the remote control i'm talking about is quite low priced. I believe like under $ 30 .
