"platinum cat" heater

I'm looking for a "vented" catalytic heater option for use when rustic camping and no 110 ac power is available. The Platinum Cat heater is the only one I've found online. Has anyone installed this heater in their camper and if so did it meet your expectations?

I use a Mr. Heater (Mr. Buddy) propane catalytic heater in our unit. There are 2 models available. Each has a low oxygen sensor and requires proper ventilation.

Olympian Heaters is another popular brand available in 3 different sizes and can be bought at Camping World. Somewhat more expensive than Mr. Heater.

Haven't checked but both should be available online.

Thanks for the reply Festus2. I'm looking for something that is permanently vented so I don't have to remember to crack open a window. My memory isn't what it used to be and I'd only have to forget once. I used to backfeed generator power into my house during power outages. I stopped that and I'm purchasing a transfer switch to do it properly before an accident happens due to me not following proper procedure. More expensive but accident proof.

We had a Platinum Cat in our Dutchmen and loved it. It was quiet, produced good heat and I really liked the fact that it was externally vented. When we got our next trailer, I looked for another one only to find them out of business. Are they available again?

You may be right. The e-mail link on their website doesn't seem to work. They may be out of business. I will continue to look for other vented heaters but I may be out of luck. But then again I am Irish and it is March.

If you find anything, please post it here because I would really like to have another vented catalytic heater. Opening a window to run the heater always seemed counterproductive to me.
