Vent Fan Wiring

I am putting a Fantastic Vent in the factory location in my 2014 Bullet 246RBS. I removed the trim piece to make sure I had a wire to tap into and this is what I found...

Did I get lucky and Keystone pre-wired the vent area?

Check the wires with a simple 12V test light, positive/negative to insure it is not a 120V wire. Looks to me as though it is a lucky day for you!

I guess I wasn't so lucky after all. I started to pull on the wire a little to get some slack and it fell out! It was just a 2-foot piece of wire not attached to anything.

Looks like I will be tapping into the light after all.

I hard wired a Progressive Industries EMS into my Bullet with no problem. I replaced the mouse hole with a shore power socket with no problems.

Now I am trying to tap into the light fixture next to my new Fantastic Vent and I am confusing myself on something this simple. There will be 3 wires going into each wire nut right?

You hit the nail on the head. 3 wires in each wire nut.
