Bolt on bracket for rear Steadyfast stabilizer

Because our Cougar has the sliding bumper I chose to make a bracket so the rear Steadyfast stabilizer could be bolted on rather than welding. Though it might not look like it the Wing Nut clears the jack by a ¼ inch. We only used the 5th wheel for a couple months after mounting the rear stabilizer in August but it seemed to work fine.

That is a great idea. Have you thought about sharing that with the Steady-Fast guy? It would be neat if they offered that 'adapter' to use on trailers with the slide out bumpers.

Thanks for the mod Jeff. I have a friend that is looking to add the Staedyfast stableizers on a 5er that has the slide out tray.

BTW, that sure is a nice looking blue Ford in your signature.

Just purchased Steadyfast. They have a bolt on adapter if you have a under carrage bike rack. You can purchase this item for $25.00 Works great.
