Purchasing a used Hideout

I am purchasing a 2012 Hideout 19FLB. This RV is in great condition. Only the original owner and has been covered when not in use. My big question is since there is no ladder can I walk on the roof to clean it with Murphy's soap. The owner has just hosed the roof off twice a season.

to the forum geomahon,
The 2012 Hideout (both, east & west models) are shown as a "Walkable Crowned Roof", although a rear ladder (& ladder backer/reinforcement) not available on the 19FLB (19FLBWE).

East Brochure (pg 8 & 12) http://www.keystonerv.com/media/2464...t_brochure.pdf
West Brochure (pg 8 & 12) http://www.keystonerv.com/media/3238...n_Brochure.pdf

Hope this helps,
Terri, the Chevy co-pilot

I have the same unit (2011) and I have been on the roof to clean and reseal it the roof .It is solid but I walk 'softly'. I only go on it when needed. I also got on top to clean AC coil. We love our 19, hope u do also.

I have never walked on any of my rv roofs. When your up there and see how much they flex and move you might change your mind. Lots of creek in and moving that I don't like. When I clean mine a use scaffolding and works around the rv and it works very well. You could also use a ladder. Good luck.
