Wanting to add interior led slide lighting.

Haven't taken delivery of our 31BHPR yet but I already know I want to add RGB LED strips around the slides. Has anyone done this to theirs? Wondering what is the best way to go about this. Got the idea from the Grey Wolf TTs, looks really sharp and makes perfect night lights. Thanks in advance!

Ok bringing this back to the top, wondering if it would work too tap into the 12v source at the slide motors for my led strips? Thoughts?

My first concern, is if you're tapping from the motor source, wouldn't that mean you'd have to have the slide switched on to get power that way?

Might look nice, but I'd try to tap into a more steady source or an outside porch light for power.

Are you adding these to the front edge of the slide or back against the wall or behind the trim, just trying to picture it. You have power to the lights over the table and couch.

I'm adding these to the back side so all that can be seen is the glow. Something like this:

OK, got it, looks good. The back slide will be a little more tricky for the power than the main slide. Hope it all works out for you.

Any thoughts how to access the 12v wiring from the lights already in the slide?

I would pull a light and see if there is a way to fish a wire over to the edge.
