This was a very enjoyable destination stop for us. We had researched all the listed RV Parks/CGs a couple of months in advance and made a two week reservation at Mill Creek CG. From this location we could visit numerous places on our list of things to see. Fisheries were high on our list and there a couple of large ones in this area. Mackinac Island and Fort Michilimackinac were visited. We took a day trip all the way up to Salt St. Marie (including a stop at Studebaker's Restaurant and Lounge for brunch) for a Soo Locks tour boat ride up through the locks to Lake Superior.

When we left Mill Creek we went north across the bridge and explored the UP for a couple of weeks until we reconnected with US-2 in Duluth, MN. But those are other stories.

Thanks for the pics. Looks like a beautiful park. We haven’t visited this part of the country yet but plan to do so next year. Appreciate the CG tip.
