First night of the season!

Feels so good to have her back out for the summer. Looking at some great weather here in Iowa this weekend!

Love seeing pictures of rigs on trips, even short ones. Been out twice this year and go again in next month. I hate waiting. Have a great season.

Looks wonderful!! Enjoy! I was lucky and got out earlier this month. Had weather from 80 to 25 degrees in the span of 5 days. Still was wonderful.

The county Park we are in this weekend has 86 sites and there are only 10 of us in the whole park! I love the warm days and cool nights and having the place to your self is a bonus!

We particularly like spring and fall camping, because we usually have campgrounds to ourselves. Very peaceful.

I love Spring and Fall camping also. Nice and peaceful, choice of the best spots, etc. The local SP I stay at has 100+ sites and many times there will be maybe 10 of us in there. Try to go in the Summer and it is packed full. And don't plan on getting there on a Friday evening. If you have more than a modest size rig you'll be lucky to find a spot you can get into, even though they all are supposed to accommodate up to 40'. I'd be hard pressed to get into quite a few of them. But if I can go on Wednesday and get a head start on things I don't mind staying the weekend in the Summer. I actually enjoy walking around seeing all the younger ones who come out and camp, tent camp, and now hammock camping is getting big here. Nice to see couples and families doing something besides sitting with their phone in their face.

We've been at our present campground for about two weeks, and it's been really empty; but for some reason it's filling up today. We have been sitting outside reading this afternoon, and campers have just joined us on each side. We met both within about 15 minutes of each other - really nice folks. We were commenting about the fact that if we were sitting in a hotel room right now...HOW BORING!!! There's nothing like walking around, getting some exercise and fresh air, and checking out the trailers and motorhomes that have rolled in today (from all over the US, Canada and lots of families from foreign countries who are renting their RVs). Wouldn't trade this way of exploring our great country for anything else.

I agree. It's hard to beat looking at all the different rigs and chatting with the neighbors.

I am really envious now. I'm glad you are enjoying it. I hope someday to be able to go much much more.
