I agree. When the weather man said this was going to be the last temps below freezing I wanted to jump for joy! We leave on April 1 for virginia beach. Our first time out. We have camped all our lives now we are getting soft! We have a new 23rb and I really want to de winterized it. But it seems we keep getting these low 20's and teen temperatures and can't get it done. Looking forward to first landing state park and a visit to family.

Well, I hope old man winter has fired his last volley in Virginia. I'm de-winterizing this evening and getting ready to hit the road for my first trip of 2014.

Mother Nature had to get one more shot in at the Jersey shore. I had to scrape a few inches of icy snow off the DW's car this morning so she could go to work. (I actually have no problem being a kept man) We are leaving for Florida Friday evening hoping all of these freezing temps are a thing of the past.

I saw the first Robins of the year in the back yard. Warm weather shouldn't be too far behind.

Well I'm waiting till Thursday to de winterize. It's going to be in the low 20's upper teens tonight up here by the Mason-Dixon Line. After that I REALLY DO think the old man has left town!

Any robins round here would be digging through 30" of packed snow/ice to find worms around here. We've still got several weeks (at least) of the cold weather ahead of us. It's in the 30's daytime and down to the teens at night for the next 2 weeks at least.

All 'a yall that are considering de-winterizing or that already have, enjoy your time, ours is just ahead of us...... There is "light" at the end of that tunnel, somebody promised us that we'd see it soon.......

John, You better get that pole barn door open soon. Don't make me feel bad about heading south without you. Supposed to be one more dip into the teens tonight and then above freezing here. Looks like I'm rolling south Friday night.

Y'all are headed south and we're headed north! April 16 we hit the road from Liberty TX to Virginia, Carolinas, and where ever.
I guess we oughta pack some sweaters?!
I've got tomatoes blooming and pepper plants in the ground coming on up.
All of you please disregard my whining when August gets here and it's 95/95. That's 95 degrees and 95% humidity.

Hankpage,
We are also headed out Friday evening to myrtle beach. Will probably try to make it to Richmond area and stay in a Walmart for the night. Safe travels!

gearhead we had season tickets for both races for years , but it got to be to much BS going on so we gave our tickets to some friends, I say season tickets but a friend of ours owns a tow truck company and he gave us the tickets every year
