Direct short

Some of us, ME included give Keystone the devil so I feel I should give them a pat on the back when they do good. Our 2014 3850 had a direct short in the furnace. It was starting to get cold in San Antonio. An rv repair man who was in the park that day had time to look at the issue. By the way,I had him do some work on a previous rv last year and was impressed with his work. Didnt think to OK this with Keystone first. He found the problem fixed it, paid him $120 and I am HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY. Called Keystone the next day to run this by them as to see if they would reimburse me and they said I should have taken it to Montana dealer. Ok maybe so but the dealer I called couldn't get to it for a week. Go figure. But anyway they told me as courtesy to me they would pay me. But WAIT, it's a 2014 and has been slept in 12 nights. Told them I did them a favor, if I would have taken the coach to a montana dealer. it could have been double or triple. But I do feel they stepped up and did the right thing. OK I'm finished. THANKS Keystone. Brent

It is nice to hear the good things as so many (me included) tend to write about all the bad things that happen. It's kind of funny we don't take the time to write about the good. I really enjoy my RV. I like working on it as it gives me the opportunity to really get to know it. Improvements can be made to ANY RV, so I never complain about that. And when you consider they make thousands of RV's a month, no one is perfect.
