Chili

First since March, the DW and I both woke this morning with an inexplicable craving for homemade chili

Mmmm, chili. Now you're talking!

I noticed the supermarket Hormel canned chili now comes in several designer flavors, costing just a few cents more than their standard variety. The new "southwest" one is pretty darn tasty, IMHO.

I make homemade chili quite often, at home. No recipe, so it never comes out the same twice I always make enough to freeze a couple of quart Zip-Loc bags to freeze. Comes in especially handy for those spur-of-the-moment urges to go camping.
