Keystone's 1 year warranty

Thankyou for the quick responses we are excited one other question any one else have any major issues with this TT and has anyone had to use warranty and what was your experience with that with keystone in particular we have read various issues on dealing with keystone. We are buying from a large dealer who seem to be very reputable but in general would like to know what people's experience have you had with the 1 year warranty.

This post was moved from the New Member Check In section to this category since the OP's question deals with warranty.

Several members here have had issues come up during the first year of ownership. If their problem is one that is covered under Keystone's warranty, I think most have had the issues(s) resolved.

Part of the reason in experiencing success with the warranty is a having a dealer who will "go to bat for you" and be supportive of your claim. Ensure that you are working with a reputable dealer who does believe in and practice "customer service. Another factor to consider is how the owner approaches Keystone with the claim. Like all other warranty claims, I think the best approach is to try to be civil, courteous and calm despite whatever frustrations and anger you might be feeling over the issue.

If you can find a copy of Keystone's standard 1 year warranty, I would read it and understand what is covered and what is not. Find what your responsibilities are as an owner. Leaks, for example, can be a contentious issue so be sure you pay special attention to proper maintenance regarding caulking, seals, etc.

Many of the RV appliances carry their own and usually 2 year warranties so you do have an extra year with these.

Hope this helps and welcome to the forum.
