manually moving slideouts

We have a 2018 Keystone Bullet. Recently we had some issues with the slide out, took it to the dealer and it had something to do with a circuit. Any how I got to thinking, how would we get it in or out if the thing just quit working? We have 2 extensions for a drill that are flexible so I know how to do it if the slide out is in a close position. But how do we access the part that needs to be attached if the slide out is already out. Sorry if my terminology is a little goofy

When you say flexible shaft, I think you’re talking about cable slides made by Norco/BAL. You may need to remove the upper facia trim to access the motor/gearbox.

I think he's talking about a flexible drill bit adapter for tight places? Do you know where the manual part to turn is? One way is out the other way is in...that probably didn't help much Locating that came be tricky...asked your dealer. Mines a 2018 as well...I think it's inside a removable panel in the coroplast...something we all should know and have the proper tool to open/close manually.

A flexible shaft won’t have the strength to move a rack and pinion slide.
