Simple solid step mod

It’s important to ensure the solid steps are level. Not only to avoid damage to the door and step mount, but because it’s easy to lose your balance and fall on steps that are not level.
I tried keeping a small six inch bubble level inside the door for this purpose but it always grew legs and took time to find. My solution was to take a 99 cent string level, remove the hooks and glue it to the frame of the steps.
One more “step” of the setup process made easier.

I like this. I'll either look for a metal one or see if there is any way to mount it underneath somewhere, as sun and plastic don't get along out where we are.
