Wiring second AC Help- Mach 3

First off, I apologize if this has been covered, but I have been searching for hours and most seems to be related to dometic.

I am trying to add a Mach 3 unit to the front of my 34TSB which is pre-wired. I have (finally) all the parts I need. I will list part numbers below to hopefully help someone else that may stumble along this post.

My question is related to the green / white wiring that you see hanging in the photo. I looked at the rear AC and it looks like this is cut / spliced into the control box. I wanted to confirm before I cut / splice this. I was concerned because I see no end like on the 120 volt and network cable. Also, there are several other wires running across the opening, but I assume they are just other 12V lines and unrelated to the AC--can someone please confirm?

As expected, Keystone and dealers are of no help.

So my assumption is the following:
1) Cut and splice the 12v line after the "knot from the factory" to the control box 12V lines similarly to the rear unit.
2) Use the one network cable to plug into the gateway (I am assuming the front unit has 2 so it can talk to the front unit?)
3) Wire the thermostat wires from the bedroom thermostat to the control box
4) Wire the 120V to the control box
5) Wire the gateway to the control box

If anyone can offer more clarity or tips, it is much appreciated!

Part numbers:
1) Gateway - Airxcel 9430-5501 RV-C Netzone Gateway for Coleman-Mach ACs and HPs 94305501 - Found better price on eBay. $80
2) 13.5K BTU (not quite series) - 48203-066 parts.unitedrv.com. $699
3) Lower unit -8430A633 - parts.unitedrv.com. 164.99. (Be careful buying this part from other sources at a lower cost. Some do not include mounting bolts or control box, but use the same part number.

This excellent tutorial post is the one that I followed when adding my 2nd Dometic A/C. It does indicate that the white/green loop should be connected just as it is in the original control box.

I realize you are doing a Coleman upgrade, but perhaps you will find some useful info in this post and pics.

Thanks - I think that sorts out the green/ white white. The only open item I have that seems different is the jumper on the dometic unit. My existing gateway (pictured) does not have a jumper; it has 2 cables plugged into it. Only one runs to the front and I am unclear on which port it plugs into (front gateway is exactly the same).

Update - Just wanted to complete the post in the event that anyone else comes across this as there is minimal resources for installing a second Mach unit with InCommand. You need a total of 4 parts listed below. I will try to take photos and do a write up when I have time to help others:

You need the 3 parts I already listed above. Get whatever AC you want.
The lower unit comes with a control box, but that only works if you are hooking it up as a separate stand-alone unit. I am hooking mine up to in-command for a ducted application. That being said, you need to purchase, separately, the control box part number 9430-752. I found this on eBay for $95. This is the cool only control box---you need a different part if you are adding heat. This enables zone control and will connect quite easily to your gateway.

Thank you very much for this post. I have a Cougar 30BHS and want to install a second 15000btu Colman Mach 15 quiet a/c. I have the wiring like in your pictures. Did your gateway unit come with the freeze wire?

To clarify (if it may be needed) for Soxfan904, the OP is the "original poster" which is the person to whom you appear to be directing your questions. That person posted this thread discussion about 4.5 years ago and hasn't posted at all for the past 3.5 years...

In other words, that person hasn't been on the forum for that length of time, so you probably will not get "answers to your questions from asking him"...
