goto buccees. fuel is easy has room, but if busy may be tough to find a parking spot. I'm creative when I park ours there, way in the back

I'd drive an outhouse if it said Buc-ee's on it. Only thing wrong with them is there isn't one here in Arizona!

Been to several Buc-ee's in the Southeast. No issues at all with our rig. Even stopped at one to do an emergency repair to my rig's brakes. Never had an issue finding somewhere to park. Never had an issue fueling either. They are busy though!

Bucees and a truck stop are different as day and night. First, there's no 18 wheelers allowed. Granted the occasional truck drivers may park nearby and walk in. Not to disparage truck driver,s but you will notice a completely different crowd at Bucees. The cleanest truck stop is multiple times dirtier than Bucees. I have never stood in a puddle of diesel to fuel up at Bucees, unlike at a truck stop.
Bucees restrooms are cleaner than mine at home.
I'm obviously a Bucees fan.

I saw the signs for this operation on our way to Miami on I-75, didn't know what it was. I rarely go to truck stops because of the ridiculous fuel prices. For example, south GA/north FL truck stop diesel was 5.59-5.69 while at the smaller places it was 4.99. That is typical when I travel, so only use Loves etc for a bathroom or snacks. Guess we will have to check it out next trip south.

New Bucees on the way...Auburn Alabama. I just got a short glimpse of the sign and never saw the actual store.

Bucees will be much cheaper than truck stops, more like the typical gas station; the cheapest one in town.

Went to the one on 95 at Daytona beach today at 11:30 Am….my advice? ….DO NOT GO TO THE ONE ON 95 AT DAYTONA BEACH AT 11:30AM..at least with a fifth wheel…man talk about a cluster f$&@…people drive in to both ends of the pumps and at all directions of the compass …all I could do to get out of there…didn’t even bother to go in or get fuel.

It was like four different parades converging on one four way intersection without a traffic light….cars were just backing up from the front of store without looking and vehicles were coming from behind,in front and both sides of the store all at once…add in people towing boats ,trailers and tanker trucks delivering fuel…( two of them at once) ..

They also had one exit lane blocked by a truck doing utility work on the property..

Probably just a bad time to go but it was a nightmare lol

Probably best to go earlier or later

Jasin....Florida....Daytona Beach.....Spring Break.....11:30AM.....and
BUC-EES!???? Yeah, I figure they were slammed.

Heck I'm in a little place that might have 500 people but they have a little oyster and beer festival today at the city park. People parked for as far as you can see (even further) on every street, in every wide spot, at the marina, at the Gulf Specimen Aquarium....everywhere. The line coming into town on the highway from Tallahassee and GA was solid and endless. It's a bad time to go and do anything like that. I'm sitting here just waiting for Monday.

I have a sister that lives in Panama Beach, FL. Spring break? Not enough money on earth to get me to go there, much less towing.

So I went to one in Texas. They had a **** load of pumps, could possibly get a fifth wheel in and out on the outside pumps. But I was at a campground close by so didn't bring the fifth wheel. I really don't see what the big fuss is about this place. The items they sell are outrages in price for what it is. I would not go back to one unless I needed fuel and it happened to be at the exit!

Uh, you stop at Love's and Pilots? All Buc-ees I've been to beat them hands down on pricing, offerings, bathrooms, room at the pumps etc. To each their own but given the choice between a truck stop and Buc-ees it will Buc-ees every time; and I don't have to wade thru a dozen truckers trying to shave, shower and do "whatever" in the bathroom.

So TAKE THAT New Braunfels! There will be a new king...
I just passed a Bucees under construction on I 40. I thought I was in Crossville, but maybe not. Building and awning was up.

Loves/Pilots is to Buc-ees as Sheraton is to MGM Grand.

"Buc-ee’s will be the first anchor establishment for the 407: Gateway to Adventure, a new tourism development that will include various shops and restaurants. Located right off the 407 exit off Interstate-40, the 74,00 square feet, 120 gas pump location once built will stand as the world’s largest convenience store, surpassing the franchise’s previous record-breaking store in Calhoun, Texas."
"CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Construction of the first-ever Buc-ee’s location in Tennessee continues as they prepare to open their doors in 2022.
Spanning over 53,000 square feet, the travel center will feature more than 100 fuel stations, award-winning restrooms, and thousands of food offerings that have made the Texas-based chain one of the most popular stops for travelers in the country."

Yes, Sevierville AND Crossville.
And avoid the brisket sandwich. It comes with sauce applied, suitable for three sandwiches. At least ask the attendant for one with no sauce. Apply your own if so moved.
And yes, the business is all it is cracked up to be.

Buc-ee's is to 2022 what Exxon Travel Shops were to 1971 and what Stuckey's was to 1959
