In the books.....

Well that went GREAT.....

The new rig exceeds any expectations we had going in.

The Kingsize bed is as good as our bed at home (king-size purple bed)
Slept like a baby.

Pulled so easy.

Set up was easy with the leveling jacks, oh my.

We were right on the water at a state campground that will close on the end of this month for a complete remodeling, upgrade. Opening again next June.

They only have 30 amp, and the sewer system needs upgrading, and they need to cut down some trees to get bigger rigs in.

We loved it as is, even tho we went from 90 gallons of holding waste to 60....
Which cut it very close on the gray water.

We normally do full hook ups, but not always, so I purchased a 36 gallon 4 wheel portable tank, which I will bring along if we head to any no sewer hook up spots in the future.

The old growth trees were huge, we camped right amongst them, couldn't see the stars....bummer.

The first picture gives you an idea of just how big they are, my trailer is 25 feet, 11 feet tall, and look at them..... and these were not the biggest ones.

Then our first night, and our first meal....."white trash tacos" my Hispanic wife makes for this honkey boy, which I love

That was our view of the lake, about 50 feet away from our spot.

Traffic was very light, gas everywhere, but as much as a buck a gallon difference if you went maybe a mile down the road....????

Not sure what games they are playing here in Washington, but you can buy the highest octane for only 15 cents more..... at the HIGHER priced stations, which seems odd to me.

Some pixs.

That's a beautiful place Eddie. I have to ask, "white trash" tacos? I live in "taco" country but don't know what that is....and I love tacos. And....I don't see a plate of jalapenos? Pickled, fresh...you need those to make the sweat pop. Thanks for sharing.

No jaypenos for this amigo..... wife on the other hand muy bueno!

White trash tacos are when you take a warm tortilla, so it can "fold" without tearing, and jam inside it raw ground beef, then put in into hot oil until crisp, turn over, until crisp, remove but DO NOT drip the fat back into the hot grease.... be careful.

Drain on a paper towel, then gently pry open the crispy, crunchy, golden tortilla and stuff it with whatever "pulls your trailer"

As an example, I put my cheese in first, to be melted by the hot beef, my wife puts hers on last, after the shredded lettuce, so it doesn't melt...

No pre-formed taco shells in this family!

If anybody wants to see a wonderful area of Washington State, this area of the state is worthy of a few days, a week would be better.

Lots of fishing and hunting, even elk tags.

Here is where we stayed: https://www.bing.com/search?q=ike+ki...ANNTA1&PC=HCTS

We took a day trip to Mount Saint Helens, she blew her top 40 years ago in a massive and deadly eruption.

This day the clouds prevented me from getting a better shot as her top was covered.
The public can only get within 14 miles of her still to this date, 40 years after the fact.

That was all lush forest before she blew.
What you see here is nature reclaiming her territory.
Just behind this point the forest has been privately restored mostly by logging companies with stately Noble Firs that cover everything, they are big and gorgeous.....
Some areas were planted the very next year after the blast, and thick as fleas once again.

You won't be sorry.....

I like the street taco size the best, more crunch

Just be sure you do not put in too much meat, you don't need a lot, and you want it too to cook all the way through before it gets too crunchy....
Just press it into the bottom where its folded, put in pan, you might need to hold it fold until it sets up in the grease, watch yer fingers, they add a weird taste to them if you don't

We just use garlic salt and some chili powder on the raw meat.

and once again, DO NOT drain your taco back into the pan by tilting the taco and letting the hamburger fat drain out, it will splatter and spit hot oil everywhere.....
Cook them like you would pan fry frozen shrimp, turning only once and enough oil to just cover half of the shrimp at a time....not deep frying, if that makes sense.
