Floor surface repair (minor)

Hello all. The floor on my 2020 passport has a small, thumbprint size gouge from a dog cage. The thin layer on the surface, looks almost like some type of vinyl flooring. I need to fill the void/level and seal it. The floor is the NEW water resistant flooring so I'm not sure of the type of material used, or the best type of filler/adhesive or what ever would be best to use???
I contacted Keystone who replied to the email, but never heard back..
Any ideas?

PS. 40 yrs of camping and campers but have not dealt with this type of "manufactured" floor.

A similar thing happened to my floor on the way home from the dealership. I didn’t need to fill the gouge but I did need to smooth out the vinyl part and glue it back down with wood glue. The repair is invisible and has held up just fine.
In your case I’d put wood glue in the hole, get a styrofoam peanut and fill the hole. Let that cure then glue the vinyl down on top of that.

Thanks for the info. The damage I have, is pretty much just a small piece of the top layer of flooring torn off, not a deep gouge as I my original post stated. The glue and the saved piece of flooring should work.
