Roof Concerns

Hey Guys, how concerning is this? see pics below. I have about a finger size gap in between 2 of the plywoods under the roof of our Laredo 5er. This gap is in the front above the master bedroom and runs all the way across. The other seams have no gaps. No leaking or water damage. Thanks

Right now it's cold and the roof panels are contracted. When the sun hits your RV and the roof panels expand, that gap will probably be much less than it is right now.

Stop and think how a laminate or vinyl floor is laid in a room. There's always at least 1/4" on all sides to allow for contraction/expansion with temperature/humidity changes. It's the same with your RV.

During the winter you'll see larger gaps between panels, in the summer, they decrease in gap size.

There should be a roof joist under that joint. I don’t believe Keystone will consider it an issue until it causes a problem. Hopefully it won’t.
