New to Keystone

Recently acquired a brand new 2013 Keystone Alpine 3450RL.

Relatively new to camping (two seasons) but DW wanted some more comfort creatures for her and the grandchildren.

It was the end of the season (no electricity in the campground) but we managed to get the rig situated on a site in a campground near Grand Bend, Ontario.

Nothing worse than having a new trailer, but not being able to enjoy it. I know its going to be a long winter and May 1, 2014 cannot come soon enough.

Any other Alpine owners care to comment on their experiences so far?

We also have a new 2013 Alpine, a 3250RL. You can look at my profile and see what issues we've had during our first season. Nothing too serious, just irritating. Most come from our own inexperience.

We really love the rear living room with the windows on all sides. Most campsites offer a decent view out the back. I'd be happy to compare notes with you at anytime. I'm sure our units share many things in common.

I have a 2012 Alpine, had a few minor issues, and one that I would call major. the major issue I had was the hard plastic paneling under the bedroom slide got caught on a loose screw in the slide mechanism and tore it to shreds. I was just over my 1 year factory warranty, but between Keystone and my dealer, they covered all of the cost. Other than that I had the shower diverter freeze last winter. Other than that, I am completely happy with my BIG purchase, my dealer, and Keystone...
