AccuSlide Question

On my 2014 Cougar HC bedroom slide note adjuster in pic. This can't be right with adjuster riding up on motor in closed position. I see where people might move the chain one tooth but this looks like it would require five or six to get adjuster away from motor. How could this be so far out of adjustment and where would I start to get the slack to move the chain that much?
Thanks

Question

https://norcoind.com/bal/downloads/a...ice-manual.pdf

The link above is to an accuslide manual discussing adjustment procedures. Not sure why it would be over the motor, but this manual may help.

Thanks I downloaded the manual plus the instillation manual. I took another look at trying to adjust so it would not hit the motor. If I run the slide all the way out it only leaves maybe 4 inches before it would contact the pulleys on the wall side. I thought about maybe a longer center bolt but I wouldn't have enough adj. in cables to take up slack and it would probably hit the pulleys. With the slide out the other adj. (out one red) ends up on top of motor also. You would have thought they would have made these so they didn't contact the motor.
In adj. the cables it seems the inside cables attaching to slide high and low need to have just enough slack so they can move up or down approx. 1/2 inch with slide in. Same goes for outside cables when slide is out. You can gauge the cable initial tension by squeezing cables together about 6 inches behind the cable connector on top of slide when you start your adj.
