Awning Extension

We have a 2017 Keystone Retreat Loft. A front slide comes out near the sliding patio door. There is a gap in the awning from the edge to the edge of the dinette slide of about 10-12" and when it rains, it pours down. Has anyone made some kind of something that would go from the existing awning and cover at least part of the slide so you don't get wet when exiting the door?

This topic comes up from time to time. Trailers with two awnings do have a "gap" between the awnings and since I joined the forum in 2011, that gap has been a complaint and I don't think anyone has come up with a suitable way to solve the problem of rain "dumping" between the two awnings.

If you do a forum search, you should find those previous discussions of the problem. Good Luck !!!
