I am guessing the cord is a power cord? I would go though the rear wall before the roof. Take a marker light off and see the ready made hole. I would maybe run in though the bottom of the marker light mount and seal that up really well before ever going though a roof. Are you going to wire it to another wire or plug it into an outlet? Even the taillights mounting holes would be a safer choice than the roof to get wires into the RV.
