Looking to upgrade from a passport 300bh to a cougar 32rbk or an Outback 312??

We have been camping for the past 2 yrs with our 2011 Passport 300bh and love camping and will have gone almost 10 times this year. Looking to upgrade to a camper the that has a little more luxury and amenities. Would have to go with a Cougar Xlite 5th wheel but think the pin weight is just little much or on the border for my TV. So kind of narrowed it down to the Cougar xlite 32rbk and the outback 312bh. Any thoughts or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Also really like my dealer who carries the cougar but not the outback. Going to the Rv show as well in two weeks.
Tow vehicle is a;
2012 Ford F150 crew cab 5'5" bed lariat with max tow Ecoboost
Cargo is a tab under 1800lbs and tow rating of 11,300

I was going to suggest the Outback since the ones I’ve seen are very nice, but now that I compare your two models, I’d go with the Cougar.

1) The rooms partition off better in the Cougar: slider for front bedroom and narrower curtain for the rear.

2) Cougar is slightly shorter, slightly lighter. More isn’t always better.

3) Cougar kitchen counter has an extension leaf for more space.

4) Additional window in dining area.

Bonus points for your favorite dealer carrying the Cougar.

Well being a previous passport owner and now a current outback 312 owner, we love the outback 312. more room inside, sleeps up to 11 people comfortable. We use the outdoor kitchen all the time. Rainy days the full back room is a kids room and parents have the living and bedroom to themselves. love the two slides to make the kids room and living room bigger.

Now as far as weight, I will suggest a bigger truck as the outback loaded will run around 9000 lbs. I know the truck dealership says it will tow it but ideally for safety concerns I would not have that on my family. We upgraded to a 2500 ram megacab with 6.7 deisel from cummins and it tows it with much ease. With the 11,200 tow rating your truck has now you will be at about max with tow weight plus tongue weight. Check out some previous comments on tow vehicles for outbacks, some others tried it with 1/2 ton trucks and turned around upgraded to a 2500 or 2500 for safety and comfort.
