Using cable hookup with Jensen in 210RS
First post here. Not new to RVing but new to this unit. We are currently on a shake down stay in a campground. Trying to use campground cable. The picture is extremely fuzzy.
Here is what we've done. I bypassed internal camper wiring and run my cable from campground connection straight to my Jensen. Had campground staff verify that their cable system was working by using my cable run and their television.
So, no problem with campground cable connection or my cable run. I can see all channels after running auto scan but they are very fuzzy. Can hear sound.
Suggestions please!

turn off your attenna booster, that is what I had to do. Mine is located in my closet and it is a little black button on the cable face plate

Notice that I completely bypassed my internal Outback wiring and booster by running the cable straight from campground connection directly to the TV.
Next suggestion please?

Thunder Mountain , Howdy;
First, Welcome ...
Second, If you have an older type CRT type tv, I'd recommend
a good de-gaussing.
Since you've probably got something newer, I'd ask dealer
(if it's that new), to either fix or replace ...
Also, there is a Search box up in the tool bar that might help
you find an older topic that might lead you to a better answer...
Again, Welcome...

Thanks for the advise. The Jensen is a HD flat screen. Also did the search thing on the forum. No luck.
Guess I'll have to take it to the selling dealer. Got a few other items for them to fix.
Anybody else want to take a shot?

We had a similar problem (all fuzzy channels, on occasion) -- ours turned out to be a BAD CONNECTOR.
It was a bad/loose crimp on one end of the short cable that goes from the TV to cable connection plate (in the entertainment center area, behind the TV).

I'm the OP. Called Jensen. Told them what I previously did. They concluded that it is a bad cable tuner. They opend up a tech support case that I can give to the selling dealer, and Jensen will replace the TV.

That's good that you got such a quick response , Hopefully the dealer will be as quick with it and the other issues. Good Luck and to the forum.
