Triple sliding shower doors

I am looking for a permanent repair for the handles on the triple sliding shower doors. They were on my last 5th wheel and my present Cougar. The handles come off the doors during travel and the doors then are free to travel in the metal tracks and can come out and are extremely difficult to reinstall. The design is extremely poor and I cannot understand why they are still being used. If I cannot find a permanent repair I will install a shower curtain.

Mine fell off in the first 6 months. I used epoxy to put them back on and haven't had a problem since.

Get yourself a tube of E6000 adhesive, find it at Wal-Mart in craft area, to stick the handles back on & once it cures hope you never need them off again.

My handles haven't come off...yet. But the latch has come un-done, or wasn't latched good. I put adjustable shower curtain rods in the bottom tracks to prevent the doors from moving.

I have them too. Didn't get latched once and I was shocked they didn't shatter. Beat the handles loose but all I had to do was bend them back into shape and put them back on. They have a small set screw to keep them from falling off that should go through a hole in the glass. I also installed a small stop on the lower track so that 3rd door didn't slide when I closed the other 2. Works well. The E6000 is good stuff too so that's what I would use, not epoxy.

Ken, any chance of posting a picture of your third door stop? That would/could help several folks.

A glass shop should be able to order the proper glass for the broken panel and be able to glue the parts back to the new glass.

Get a piece of 2" PVC cut to the right length to rest in the trough the glass slides in. If you want to get fancy, cut notches for each pane.
