contrary to belief by some members, the tank sensors are pretty accurate and the fresh water ones especially since they don't get "crud" on them. The fresh overflow and the low point drains are two distinctly different things.
The low point drains are used for draining all the water out of the PLUMBING, not the fresh water tank, it has its own drain. You cant or should I say shouldn't plug the overflow, but if the low points are leaking then you need to address that. Either tighten the fittings or replace the washers inside of it.
