Lake Leelanau RV park...

This is near traverse city michigan, actually a bit further north but on lake leelanau. Has anyone ever been here?

We just booked for a late august trip and just wondering. Yes our first book trip is for late in the season lol. We have a group that trys to all get together for at least 1 trip, and this seems like its going to be this trip.

Aside from what I consider a fairly significant drive, at least for in state camping, is there anything else I should be concerned about? Last year, I think around this time, we scuttled a trip to taquemanon (sp?) falls due to concerns for black flies and ended up in cheboygon instead which turned out to be pretty nice.

Oh and this isn't a state park, which I am kinda bummed about, but the pictures still look pretty nice.
